De Ceuvel has become a Zo\u00f6p, a form of organisation in which plants, animals and ecosystems have a ‘voice’ in an organisation or company. They have a human representative. Thus, step by step, we improve symbiosis with the non-human.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Ceuvel \u2013 a circular breeding ground in a purifying park \u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We are an breeding ground in a self-purifying park. Truly a place of experimentation! Good and sustainable ideas are hatched into something you can actually use. And that is exactly what Amsterdam needs, because without experimentation, the city falls asleep. In addition, we have become a very nice, green oasis that attracts not only people but also many animals and plants.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onze doelen met Zo\u00f6p<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We want to discover what lives and grows in our urban oasis. This is less about the name of a plant and more about an encounter. That you know why something is there, what it needs, with whom it lives. We want to share that knowledge with the rest of the city. A city contains so much more life than just you and me.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

De Ceuvel is a self-purifying park that acts as a test site for everything living. Now that we are a Zo\u00f6p, this is only reinforced.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
