That will soon be possible in the new urban forest on the tenth floor of &#8216;The Pulse of Amsterdam&#8217;. This week, we are already planting the trees at heights of 35 metres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green is the new gold!\u2019 Greenery reduces heat, provides climate adaptation and, at this scale, creates an important contribution to biodiversity within this highly urbanised area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het Stadsbosje is a meeting place for people and animals, right on the Zuidas. It reduces heat, retains water and increases biodiversity. But this public function simply provides above all: happiness in life. The building envelope is circular, The Pulse of Amsterdam will receive BREEAM Outstanding certification upon completion and is aiming for WELL Platinum certification. Ambitions for sustainability and liveability focus on: &#8216;exceeding everything&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The concept for The Pulse of Amsterdam was created in a collaboration between VORM, EDGE, DELVA Landscape Architecture | Urbanism, MVSA Architects, VMX Architects, Bosman Bedrijven, Van Rossum Raadgevende Ingenieurs, Binder Groenprojecten, Van Toorenburg Installatieadvies, Bureau Bouwfysica. De Enk Groen &amp; Golf.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p><strong>We can keep saying it: Green is the new gold. Greenery reduces heat, provides climate adaptation and, at this scale, creates an important contribution to biodiversity within this highly urbanised area. What is unique about The Pulse is that we present greenery in a powerful and future-proof way. No trays of pots but a vast continuous landscape of trees nestled between two towers.
