At DELVA Landscape Architecture & Urbanism, we are looking for a Project Lead or Senior Landscape Architect for our Antwerp office who can deliver projects from A to Z and elevate them to the next level. You connect vision with execution and creativity with structure, and you act as the face of DELVA toward clients, partners, and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Position<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a Project Lead or Senior Landscape Architect at DELVA, you lead projects from initiation to completion. You are responsible for defining and safeguarding project objectives, planning, budgets, and quality. You manage multidisciplinary teams, guide the design and execution process, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to our high-quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You represent DELVA externally in discussions with clients, developers, municipalities, and other stakeholders. Internally, you ensure clear communication, motivate the team, and ensure everyone works toward a shared end result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will you do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Design phase: guide the design process from start to finish, sharpen the design vision, and review and approve (technical) designs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Planning & Organization: create realistic schedules, allocate team capacity, and monitor deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Financial management: prepare and monitor budgets, identify additional work, and coordinate invoicing with partners\/founders<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitoring & Risk Management: track progress and quality, identify risks, and resolve them<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Execution & Delivery: oversee execution and make decisions regarding quality, budget, and implementation<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Aftercare & Relationship Management: evaluate projects, maintain relationships, and identify opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Team Leadership & Communication: inspire and manage the team, present results, and actively promote your projects through PR and communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    What we ask<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager in landscape architecture, urban design, or a similar design field<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A completed bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in landscape architecture, urban design, architecture, project management, or a related field<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong skills in planning, budgeting, prioritizing, and decision-making<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent communication and persuasive skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • A proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven attitude<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent command of Dutch (required) and good command of English, both spoken and written<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Availability of at least 32 hours per week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
