The Position

As a Technical Specialist at DELVA, you are more than just a technical expert—you are the crucial link between creative design and practical implementation. You bring technical precision, innovation, and execution excellence to every project, ensuring that our bold design ideas can be realized with high standards of detail and quality. In this role, you work closely with our designers to translate visionary concepts into actionable, detailed plans, collaborating with civil engineering firms and green contractors to ensure seamless execution on site.

Your role is essential in navigating the complexities of technical feasibility, time management, and budget control, all while maintaining the integrity of the design vision. You actively oversee technical aspects across multiple projects, taking a hands-on approach in drawing reviews and guiding the team through technical challenges. Your ability to switch between different projects and teams ensures that each one is completed with DELVA’s high-quality standards.

You are a proactive and critical player in shaping project outcomes, ensuring that our projects are not only inspiring but also technically and sustainable.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in technical execution, preferably within (green) contractors (landscape) architecture firms or civil engineering companies, or a related field.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, (landscape) architecture or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven expertise in technical preparation and execution.
  • Strong abilities in time management, budget control, and the ability to quickly switch between projects to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in shaping project outcomes through detailed technical drawings and ensuring their successful execution.
  • A proactive mindset, with a keen eye for technical accuracy and feasibility, actively participating in the design process while assessing technical execution drawings and guiding the team on technical aspects throughout projects.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp (3D). BIM/Revit software and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Dutch is essential for external communication and working with partners, while English is required for internal communication and collaboration within the team.
