Junior Landscape Architect/Designer/Urbanist (NL/ENG)

At DELVA, we’re looking for a Junior Landscape Architect, Designer, or Urbanist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the full design process, from concept to execution, under the mentorship of experienced colleagues. Together, we’ll tackle projects that merge urbanism and landscape architecture, creating spaces that benefit people, nature, and the future.

The Position

As a Junior at DELVA, you’ll play a key supporting role in our project teams. Working closely with medior and senior colleagues, you’ll develop your skills by contributing to design tasks, project documentation, and team efforts.

This role is about learning by doing:

  • Gain hands-on experience in the design process.
  • Assist in creating presentations and project documents.
  • Support design development and help bring concepts to life.
  • Manage tasks like drawing updates, material requests, and action points.

You’ll apply DELVA’s standards to your work, ensuring our designs meet the highest quality while leaving room for your personal growth.

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for an aspiring designer who is eager to learn and grow with us. To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Urbanism, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SketchUp; experience with Rhino or Revit is a plus.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to solving design challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • A passion for integrating sustainability and innovation into design.
  • Availability for a minimum of 32 hours per week.
